Day Two at ULM is in the books and DMA 2012 is off to a fantastic start! The students were cranking it up tonight in the march off and there is no question that it’s going to a terrific week.
Students from Louisiana, Kansas and Mississippi are in attendance — great to have representation from the southern “tri-state area.” Things however have not been “normal” here this week–the weather has been pleasant and NOT oppressive. Yesterday morning it was even COLD outside! Tomorrow it appears the temperature will climb back to the traditional Louisiana standard of 97+ degrees but we certainly have enjoyed a break in the usual heat the last 2 days.

We’ve got two marchoffs in the books so far–and competition was heating up tonight! The first march off victor was:
