So much to write about and so many stories to tell—what a fantastic week at UNC/C!
One of the biggest challenges each summer is the Academy that begins right after the July 4th holiday. There are all sorts of potential travel “issues” — airline delays, traffic jams, and of course just trying to get out of the house and saying goodbye to family. Fortunately, for whatever reason, this year everything went off without a hitch. Staff all arrived on schedule, students checked in without any problems and DMA/UNCC got started at a high energy level from all!
March offs were scheduled as weather allowed—pop up thunderstorms required some creative adjustments to schedules–but all in all plenty of opportunities for implementation of listening/performance skills prevailed.
