Pre-2009: DMA Is Imminent!

May brings an incredible rush of work and excited energy to the DMA Office staff as well as the clinicians–DMA is imminent and there is an enormous amount of work to do in order to be ready.

Brochures have long been available online for download and over 10,000 hard copies have been mailed to high schools and middle schools all across the country.  Online registrations are coming in daily and let’s not even talk about the boxes that the postal service dropped off yesterday:  all filled with registration forms!  Clearly excitement about DMA has extended well into the world of students who are planning to attend!

We added a new expansion workshop to the program this year, located at Liberty Chrisitan Academy in Virginia.  We are hoping this new location will meet the needs of students who live too far away from our locations in North Carolina and Pennsylvania–time will tell, but already we have registration forms for this location so THIS is ALSO exciting!

Mr. Parks has just finished up spring semester at UMASS and is looking forward to the start of another DMA summer–first stop: University of Louisiana/Monroe!
