It appears as if there is a new “trend” occuring at DMA locations around the country–STAFF MARCH OFFS.
The staff and IMPACT TEAMs have their own private competition near the end of each Academy. Mr. Parks calls commands and the Staff tries to remember what it was like to be a competitive performer! One would think that the IMPACT TEAM members would have the advantage given that they are right out of high school and/or still in college–fresh from their marching experiences–while the staff has been, in some cases, removed from performing for many years.
This entry will be updated throughout the summer to see who has the upperhand: Experience (STAFF) vs. Youthful Exhuberence (IMPACT).
