There is no question whatsoever – the George N Parks Drum Major Academy is firing on all pistons and taking the summer by storm! Enrollment is way up and it’s only week TWO! The opportunity to reach more and more students is a PRIVILEGE–and one we at DMA will never take for granted.
DMA/Tuscaloosa was outstanding last week. A staff of stars and phenomenal students who rose to challenge after challenge–challenges no one could control: the weather. Leaders know that there is no such thing as a problem, only opportunities to be creative! And boy was that staff creative!! Nothing like taking over the concert hall lobby for marching basics–go team go!
Currently we are on the final lap of DMA/ EKU. A special treat is underway: Dr. Tim Lautzenheiser is working his magic and the gang is on an incredible ride! This groups is pushing and he’s gunning it. There is no question they will fly today!
Summer 2013 is off to a full speed ahead start and I, for one, cannot wait to see where the journey takes us.
