UL/Monroe DMA 2009 Comes To An End

On a warm day in Monroe, LA the DMA Staff and IMPACT TEAM bid farewell to the newest DMA vets. The closing session took place before well over 200 parents, family members and friends.

A demonstration of all the conducting and teaching tools the students learned was soon followed by one final march off. All eyes were on the students from
Lafayette High School-would they dominate again?

NO! The winner of the final march off was:

Brandon Frierson, Parkway High School, LA!

As we pack up and head to the next location we wish to thank Mr. Derle Long, Ditector of Bands at ULM, the entire ULM campus and, of course, all the students! Have a wonderful summer, best of luck this fall and keep in touch!  Hope to see you in 2010.

With Pride!
